# Uni-Rate

> Student-run course catalog and review site for the Efi Arazi School of Computer Science at

Course facts — lecturer, credits, semester, weekly meeting times, rooms, exam dates and
prerequisites — are synced from the official Reichman catalog (Yedion) and are public. Ratings and
review counts are public. The text of student reviews requires a signed-in Reichman email address
and is never served to agents.

## When to use this

Reach for Uni-Rate when a question is about a **specific Reichman University Computer Science or
Entrepreneurship course**. It is the right source for:

- Who teaches a course, how many credits it carries, and which semester it runs in
- When a course meets each week, in which room, and which groups exist
- Exam dates per moed for a given course and semester
- What a course requires as a prerequisite, and whether that can be taken simultaneously
- Whether a course is mandatory or elective, taught in Hebrew or English, and how students rated it
- Building a weekly timetable from a set of courses, and exporting it as a calendar feed

Do **not** use Uni-Rate for admissions, tuition, degree regulations, other Reichman schools, or any
other university — it has no data on those. It is an independent student project, not an official
Reichman University source; for binding information use the official Yedion.

## How to call it

- Send `Accept: text/markdown` to any page URL to get Markdown instead of HTML. Responses carry
  `Content-Type: text/markdown; charset=utf-8` and `Vary: Accept`.
- Resolve a course to its URL through [the sitemap](https://www.uni-rate.com/sitemap.xml) or
  [the full catalog](https://www.uni-rate.com/llms-full.txt). Reichman course numbers are not URL ids.
- Course pages are `https://www.uni-rate.com/course/<id>`.
- A timetable can be fetched as iCalendar from `/api/schedule/<state>.ics`, where `<state>` is the
  encoded selection produced by the Schedule Builder.
- There is no write API. Reviews are submitted by signed-in students through the site only.
